to crop or not to crop...

I've been umming and ahhing for months about many things one of which is going for the crop.


My style influence is Michelle Williams - she suits the elfin crop so well.  She really is a style chameleon and seems to just transform with any kind of cut.

Her most recent stunning hairband/crop combo at the Golden Globes was another real winner for me and it only makes me revisit my thoughts about going for the crop myself.

I have had a crop in the past but I was younger - so now I'm thinking how old it too old for a crop?


advantages:
quick to dry
quick to colour
easy to straighten/style
can be jazzed up with a band or funky clip
make up would need to be bolder as contrast to the simple style


disadvantages:
people might think i'm a boy (which has happened, don't laugh)
mustn't forget have to wear earrings
if we get snow, must remember a hat
could take ages to grow into a new style


I know i am clutching at straws here but I may have to just bite the bullet and go for it - it  works for Michelle maybe it will work for me......
