I was really sad to hear of the death of Betty Driver 'Our Betty' from Corrie.. Having seen an ITV documentary on her earlier in the year and then listening to her on Desert Island Discs - it was fascinating to learn more about her. A true professional who had been in the business since she was eight years old. She had many ups and downs both personally and professionally but carried on working up until about 8 weeks ago.
What a great lady - god bless you Betty...
