well I had my first attempt at Veggie Chilli last night. Surprisingly (as always) it wasn't too bad. Got the recipe from a friend at work and for once I had most of the ingredients:-
Quorn Mince
Cumin
Chilli Powder
Tins of Tomatoes
Onion
Mushrooms (or choice of veg to add)
Kidney beans
Chickpeas
Tomato Puree
and I must say it didn't turn out half bad :0) What I will need to do is add a little bit more 'kick' to spice it up - my palette has definitely got better since starting to enjoy curries.
Some rice in a huge bowl to accompany, it was a nice tea. Got some left for this evening so may spice it up with some more chilli powder..
