Friday was a real departure for me - it began with me spending the morning cleaning and tidying which I don't ever enjoy but hey had to be done as Scout and I had visitors!
The reason for all this 'out of character' activity but because my friend was coming to stay and we were getting our tattoo's done :o)
I was lucky enough to be recommended a tattoo artist who is mobile and so could come to the house, which I much prefer. We had our designs at the ready and just waited his arrival.
and here are the results
We were both thrilled with our designs
we then spent the afternoon and evening catching up. My friend is a real nail queen expert and so she did my nails for me and made them look like proper nails for once!

finally to end a really great day we had an indian takeaway (no I didn't realise that rhymed)
such a treat - day off, new tattoo, great nails and a scrummy curry
