a walk, some pics and chips

A perfect Saturday is getting a lie in, watching a spot of Fashion Police on E! with Joan Rivers  and a cuppa then slowly getting ready for a walk with the boys and the nephew..


After getting ourselves kitted up in coats, gloves and wellies we set off.  It was chilly and a little cloudy with some bursts of blue sky through the trees but such a lovely walk up through the woods. The boys off their leads rummaging in leaves while mum, the nephew and I amble along behind them chatting and taking pics.

Its always so peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the high street and seeing as we are just over the madness of Christmas and New Year it was a real tonic to have a really easy Saturday.  I think secretly we were all looking forward to the half way point which was the 'pit stop' at the pub for chips! It also meant I could slosh through some mud and finally test out the new wellies...
