Saturday beauty spree

After a week of gardening, going out with the family and then watching The Wedding (ahh).  I thought i'd earned a little spree so skipped off to the shops itching for something to buy.  Here are the results of my little 'beauty haul' and a brilliant bonus was that Boots had a '3 for 2' offer on all cosmetics :o)

I love Collection 2000 and always seem to find something to add to my beauty stash.  I found a couple of gorgeous Corals - a lippie and varnish which I have managed to wear together and not be OTT.

The varnish is Lasting Colour in No 9 Coral Reef - orangey, shiny, a great pop of colour and my new 'have to wear' 

The lippie is also Lasting Colour in No 5 Passion Fruit - its also a great colour, lasts and even smells of passion fruit - I love it! 

For eyes - I tried Collection 2000 Big Fake False Lash Effect Mascara for the first time and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. The wand has a huge brush, so for top lashes it means you can really get a good sweep upwards to get lots of colour from the root to the tip. I go for a lash effect mascara as I am not blessed with long lashes like my sis, so this is great for me and at £5 was even better for a first time trial. Along with the mascara I got a Fast Stroke Eyeliner which I have used before but this time I got Brown instead of Black. What i really like about this eyeliner is the small packaging and a wand that is manageable and not too long so again it makes application easier for the likes of me..

Having recently been using Collection 2000 foundation and found the coverage wasn't that good, I switched back to L'Oreal I really like how it feels once its on, it leaves my skin really smooth and there's no cloginess or cakeyness after application.








 
 
and finally my last purchase. I am badly in need of a touch up of my hair colour, so decided to buy this as it was the shade I like, Rich Chestnut. I love how glossy it makes my hair look.  I am colouring my hair this weekend so I will let you know how the colour suits..
 

I am loving all my new purchases and with my hair coloured its given me the little boost I needed. its not about how much it costs its about how it makes you feel..
