bright and bold...

Bright and bold colours seem to be everywhere.  From nails and lips to bags and jeans.  Going colourful is looking like the way to go for Summer 2011.

With this in mind I had a quick trawl of the high street for cosmetic and make up bags to see what brights were on offer to add a pop of colour to accessories as well as what's inside them.

Here's my round up of a few from the high street...

Mango Orange Toilet Bag Doki-T C from the 'Mango Touch Exclusive Accessories Range' £14.90 - this purse has a top zip and side zip pocket with funky blue/white stripe lining.  It also comes in two other colours - Royal Blue and Leather.  A great little bag to put some essentials in for the day. Not a bad price and a great, zingy colour. Mango also have a bigger 'toilet' bag in Red, Royal Blue and Leather at £19.90.

Ted Baker Ladies Cosmetic Purse  from Ted Baker at Boots £8.00.  This very cute purse covers two key trends  - colour and butterflies in lovely bright reds, teals and pink. The top zips from side to side which makes it easier when looking for your goodies.  This purse also has an accompanying wash bag at £12.00.


Hanging wash bag and make up bag set from Marks and Spencer at £7.50. This two piece set is ideal for use at home or away as it has the smaller zip purse for everyday items and the larger wash bag with individual zipped pockets for storing cleansers, moisturisers etc. In a fab pink colour, wipe clean and great value.

**This is my favourite** :o)
BIBA small make up bag from House of Fraser currently at £24.00 (down from £40.00). This goreous leather bag is in *the* colour of the moment Coral.  It has a two gold zips that zip up either side with the BIBA emblem also on the front in gold.  I really love the colour, the soft leather and even better than its in the sale.
