Weekend away ~ Wiltshire & Bath

Mum and I had a gorgeous break away last weekend here at the Newton Farmhouse nr Salisbury. The owners Lizzie and David were great hosts, their house and dogs were gorgeous and they even have chickens and Alpacas in the back garden!  A really great area to explore, right on the edge of the New Forest.

I'd never been to this part of the country before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Pops did us proud and we even managed to find room in the car to stash our finds at the local bootfair

I'd never been to Bath before so while we were up in that area I took us off to have a look around.  It just happened that it was (probably) the last sunny Saturday of 2012.  We had a great day wandering ~ we managed to find a small market, walked up to the Royal Crescent, had an ice cream in the park and finished our day off with a meal before heading home.
