It has recently undergone a refurbishment to coincide with the Jubilee and was officially re-opened by the Queen on 1st March.
It really is such a lovely place to visit, out of the lifts into a huge reception with grand piano playing behind.
Simple but stunning decor with the duck egg blue colouring everywhere. Impeccable service and food. Copious amounts of tea, delicate cakes and scones ~ heaven!
It was quite pricey, at £40+ for tea per person but really worth an afternoon treat on a wet, windy day in April.
*sorry for the odd angles - no matter how hard I tried I just could not get the pictures to turn!
