weekend finds..

the long weekend meant lots of catching up on TV, sleep, gardening as well as a little drop of shopping and boot-fairing!

mirror to be refurbed - £2

all 3 items for under £5 again which isn't bad. Took a bit of a gamble on the curtains but the colour works in the room.  The lamp is virtually identical to one I found earlier in the Summer and the mirror can easily be painted white to go in the bathroom.


in the garden

not a great gardener but I try my best - so at the weekend I was pulling up weeds and sawing down branches.  These are from my front garden, they were only just flowering so I thought I'd rather have them where I could see them than leave them to the elements.


from the shops 

I've tried this on my hair and left it overnight to really absorb, its quite clammy so maybe wrap your head in a scarf but when you shampoo it out the following morning it conditions so well.  My hair at the back was like straw so this once a week would certainly do the job.  Superdrug own brand and under £5..
